- Red Paper
- Pink Papers
- Clothespins
- Pencil
- Black Marker
- Scissors
- Glue stick
How To Make The Number Matching Card:
-
Draw a big heart on the red paper. This is the fun part for kids. Use a pencil, so that if you mess up, you can erase and try again!
-
Cut out the heart. You can assist your child with this if need be.
-
Cut two circles of the pink paper, this will be the blush. Go ahead and make a face on the red heart and glue the two small pink circles to the heart’s face. Write the numbers from 1 to 10 around the outline of the heart.
-
Draw 10 small hearts on pink paper and cut them out. Draw the numbers from 1 to 10 on the small hearts.
-
Glue each of the small hearts to a clothespin. As you can see, the numbers on the clothespins are designed to match the numbers on the heart. This is an excellent way for kids to learn their numbers. Plus, it’s the perfect Valentine’s Day craft to do with your kids.
